Justin Timberlake Halftime Show

Justin Timberlake got his career going in the late 1990s with the boy band NSYNC, and he has turned into a bonafide celebrity superstar over the years. He has rocked our world for almost two decades, and now, the biggest question in the mind of JT fans is this: What will Justin Timberlake’s first song be at the Super Bowl halftime show?

The big question is what Justin Timberlake’s first song will be. This has been a popular Super Bowl prop bet over the last decade or so, as a performer’s entrance shows us what the energy level will be for their performance.

Oddsmakers are listing “Can’t Stop The Feeling!” and “SexyBack” as the two favorites to be the first song. It’s likely that the main reason “Can’t Stop The Feeling!” is the favorite is because it is Timberlake’s most recent major radio song. Technically, “Filthy” is the newest hit single, but it has been out for less than three weeks at this point. It has not had the time to reverberate into America’s subconscious like “Can’t Stop The Feeling!” has.

The song rose to No. 1 on the charts and was one of the many great things inside the movie Trolls. It was a smash hit and was nominated for numerous awards.

However, I don’t think it’s likely that he leads with that one. Timberlake is a powerhouse artist and will want to start with something off of one of his albums rather than a movie soundtrack.

Even though “SexyBack” is 12 years old, it is arguably Timberlake’s most popular song. The song was a smash and went triple platinum in the United States, holding the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for seven consecutive weeks. Even today, you will hear this song played on radio stations and bars across the country. It is a catchy, uplifting song that can set the right tone for the start of a show.

Another song in that same niche is “Rock Your Body.” This song was one of Timberlake’s first solo hits. In it, he showed the world that he was ready to be taken seriously as a solo artist. Unlike his first solo album, which was a little more melancholy, he brought the fire with this one. It’s upbeat and catchy, but also very strong and sensual. It was this song that made us feel that Timberlake could be on his way to becoming his generation’s Barry White.

“Rock Your Body” is the first song I would consider betting at 4/1 odds. The odds on the two favorites are just too low, but the line seems just right with this one. This was one of JT’s first hits, and it is a song that everyone in the audience is going to know. It sets the tone for the rest of a performance that is going to be very high energy, and this song is an easy way to quickly get the audience fully immersed in his set.

If I were going to bet on one of the songs with longer odds, I would take a look at “Love Never Felt So Good.” Although this song never cracked the top 25 in the United States, it has become more popular since its initial release. This song is a Timberlake rework of one of Michael Jackson’s earliest songs, and the King of Pop has remained popular over the years. It’s not as upbeat as “SexyBack” or “Rock Your Body”, but sets the mood in its own way.

These odds will change as the week goes on, with leaks coming about what songs are on the set list. If you don’t bet on this prop now, you might not get a chance.
