For the first time in two decades, the New York Jets have new threads. Opinions on whether it’s a good look differ, to say the least, but Gang Green will have a new look when the preseason kicks off in August. Elsewhere in the NFL offseason, the top quarterback and wide receiver from the Alliance of American Football have signed on with NFL teams after the AAF’s demise, and Josh Rosen is expected at Cardinals workouts even as the team is rumored to be considering Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray with its No. 1 draft pick.

Garrett Gilbert, the top-rated quarterback in the AAF for the league-leading Orlando Apollos, quickly found work after the league folded. He signed on to be Baker Mayfield’s backup with the Cleveland Browns.

Likewise, wide receiver Rashad Ross signed on with the Carolina Panthers after catching seven touchdown passes in eight games with the Arizona Hotshots.

Speaking of new quarterbacks, the Arizona Cardinals have been enamored with presumptive No. 1 pick Kyler Murray throughout the draft process. But the team’s current signal-caller, Josh Rosen, the team’s draft pick last year, is still planning on reporting to offseason workouts.

Despite being the subject of rampant trade speculation, Arizona QB Josh Rosen is expected to report to and participate in the start of the Cardinals’ off-season workout program on Monday. Some players who have been subject of trade speculation have declined to report to workouts.

Bengals running back Mark Walton was arrested for a third time this year. This situation is getting ugly for Cincinnati.
