If you’re in the Metroplex area, drinks are on DeMarcus Lawrence. The Dallas Cowboys’ DE agreed to a massive five-year $105 million contract extension with the team late Friday night. He is guaranteed to make at least $65 million from the deal. Lawrence has been one of the top defensive ends in football over the last few seasons, and Dallas is happy to lock up their star pass rusher. Check out some of the other top stories in the NFL below.

Aaron Rodgers hated Mike McCarthy from the moment he got hired.

There continues to be fallout from Bleacher Report’s story on the fractured relationship between Aaron Rodgers and Mike McCarthy. McCarthy has repeatedly denied parts of the story, but Rodgers has been comparatively silent on the matter. It will be interesting to see if this affects Rodgers’ relationship with new head coach Matt LaFleur going forward.

#Vikings CB Holton Hill is suspended without pay for the first four games of the 2019 regular season for violating the NFL policy on performance-enhancing substances.

— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) April 5, 2019

Holton Hill’s four-game suspension for testing positive for a PED will leave Minnesota without a significant contributor in the secondary. Hill started three games as a rookie last year after Xavier Rhodes and Trae Waynes were injured.

Despite being the subject of rampant trade speculation, Arizona QB Josh Rosen is expected to report to and participate in the start of the Cardinals’ off-season workout program on Monday. Some players who have been subject of trade speculation have declined to report to workouts.

Most NFL observers believe that Josh Rosen will be traded some time in the near future, as the Arizona Cardinals are reportedly in love with Kyler Murray and are looking to take him No. 1 overall. For his part, Rosen has been a pro, and he will be at Arizona’s offseason training program on Monday.

Bengals waived HB Mark Walton. “It’s important for our team to get off to a fresh start as we begin the 2019 season,” said head coach Zac Taylor.

Mark Walton was taken in the fourth round of the 2018 NFL Draft, and he saw some action for Cincinnati as a rookie. He will be looking to ply his trade elsewhere in 2019 though. Walton was arrested for the third time on Thursday, and enough was enough for the Bengals.
