Liberty Flames at Jacksonville Dolphins ATS Prediction

The last time the Flames played, they blew out the North Alabama Lions, 72-47. The Flames knocked down 20 of their 24 free throws (83.3 percent) and held the Lions to an effective field goal percentage of 0.348 (below their season average of 0.452). Liberty was lifted by Lovell Cabbil, who was the top scorer from either team with 20 points on 5-for-6 shooting.

The Dolphins defeated the North Florida Ospreys in their last game, 86-81. Jacksonville made good use of their 26 trips to the free throw line, converting on 21 of them (80.8 percent). North Florida, on the other hand, was just 2-8 (25.0 percent). JD Notae led Jacksonville in scoring with 22 points on 8-for-15 shooting from the field.

This will be the second game of the season between these two squads. In the first, Caleb Homesley had 14 points and 11 rebounds and the Flames beat the Dolphins 69-53. The Flames had a much better turnover percentage (11.5 vs. 20.5) and had a much better offensive rebounding percentage (32.3 vs. 21.9).

It will be a showdown of conflicting paces as the fast-paced Dolphins (ranked 38th in the country in possessions per game) will look to push the more methodical Flames (337th in possessions per game). Also, the Flames rank 296th in free throw attempt (FTA) rate (0.193), while the Dolphins rank 45th in opponents’ FTA rate (0.188).
