The last time the Roadrunners played, they thoroughly outplayed the Ottawa (AZ) Spirit, 125-64. The Roadrunners had a much better offensive rebounding percentage (41.7 vs. 9.6) and had a much better turnover percentage (10.5 vs. 19.1). UTSA received a boost from George Willborn III, who was the top scorer from either team with 22 points on 8-for-16 shooting.

The Wolverines were blown out by the BYU Cougars in their last game, 85-58. BYU’s offensive rebounding percentage was their biggest strength over Utah Valley. The Cougars had a rate of 34.6 (above their season average of 30.0), while the Wolverines posted a mark of 22.6 (below their season average of 38.2). Brandon Randolph put together a good performance for Utah Valley, leading the team in scoring with 16 points on 7-for-13 shooting.

Utah Valley could have their way on the defensive side of the ball as they clash against one of the nation’s worst offenses. The Wolverines rank 47th in effective field goal percentage allowed (0.470), while UTSA is 334th in effective field goal percentage (0.459) since the 2016-17 season.
