In spite of talking about an early retirement last season, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Ben Roethlisberger want to keep their relationship going for at least a couple more years. The Steelers announced they’d reached a two-year contract extension with Roethlisberger that will keep him on the roster through the 2021 season.

Rams pick up Goff’s fifth-year option

In a move that surprised no one, the Los Angeles Rams picked up quarterback Jared Goff’s fifth-year option on his rookie contract. Goff has led the Rams to back-to-back NFC West titles and an NFC Conference Championship last season. His contract now goes through the 2020 season, but he and the team will likely work out a lucrative extension this year.

The #Rams have now officially exercised QB Jared Goff’s $22.783M option for 2020, but it won’t become fully guaranteed until the start of the league year next March. They can move on from him after 2019 with no cap ramifications.https://t.co/l6eglTYea3

Chris Harris Jr. demands new contract or trade

Denver Broncos cornerback Chris Harris Jr. is unhappy with his current financial situation and has informed the team to either step up to the plate with a new contract or trade him to a team that will pay him his market value. Harris Jr. is due to make $7.8 million this year, the final year of his contract.

Chris Harris Jr. is arguably the league's top slot corner over the past 8 years. https://t.co/CJAd27rqVF

Ravens extend Tucker

Justin Tucker and the Baltimore Ravens have agreed on a four-year, $23.05 million contract extension that will keep him with the team through the 2023 season. Tucker has converted 90.1 percent of his field goal attempts over the last seven seasons.

Ravens signing Justin Tucker to an extension and will announce it ths afternoon. Tucker was heading into final year of his deal. The expectation is the NFL’s most accurate kicker in history will also be the highest-paid one.
