However the Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback situation will look next week, Thursday night against the Tennessee Titans, they’ll have all their horses in the stable. Cornerback A.J. Bouye is expected to suit up for the TNF game after being questionable all week with a hip injury.

Jalen Ramsey, who demanded a trade this week, is also expected to play. That means if/when the Jaguars lose, it won’t be because they can’t cover receivers.

Bouye had three tackles in the first game and missed game two with the injury. Last year he started 13 games with 54 tackles, eight passes defended and an interception.

Antonio Brown and Nike part ways

With not one, but two sexual assault allegations being made against him, suddenly Antonio Brown isn’t as hot an advertising property anymore. Thursday, Nike announced that “Antonio Brown is not a Nike athlete.”

This is at least the fifth sponsor to dump Brown. Pepsi, Pizza Hut and Campbell’s Soup all jettisoned the troubled wideout earlier in the year. Xenith, the company that made Brown’s new helmet choice, cut off their endorsement deal with Brown last week.

Transactions & Notes

Buffalo Bills running back Devin Singletary did not participate in Thursday’s practice with a sore hamstring.

Cleveland Browns defensive end Larry Ogunjobi did practice Thursday after missing Wednesday with an ankle.

Christian Kirksey will muss Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams. The Browns linebacker is dealing with a chest injury.

The Oakland Raiders added wideout Trevor Davis via a trade with the Green Bay Packers and cut defensive back Justin Burris to make room for him on the roster.

Tavon Austin is still in the concussion protocol and will probably not play for the Dallas Cowboys Sunday.

Chicago Bears defensive tackle Bilal Nichols probably won’t play Monday night against the Washington Redskins because of a broken hand.
