While you could argue the Washington Redskins should make wholesale organizational changes, one thing you wouldn’t want them to lose is the services of defensive lineman Matt Ioannidis. The team and Ioannidis reached a three-year, $21.75 million extension. Ioannidis would have been a free agent at the end of the season.

Patriots keeping Gronk dent in Lombardi Trophy
Rob Gronkowski couldn’t officially leave the NFL without pulling one last Gronk move. As a guest at the Boston Red Sox home opener on April 9, Gronk used the trophy to bunt a baseball, putting a baseball-sized dent in the top. For now, the Pats are leaving it in.

2019 NFL Schedule becomes official
The NFL unveiled it’s 2019 schedule on Wednesday night and there are a slew of marquee match-ups set for Prime Time and the Cleveland Browns are featured prominently in plenty of them. The Pittsburgh Steelers will play at the Browns on Thursday, Nov. 14. The Los Angeles Rams will return to their Cleveland birthplace to face off against the Browns on Sunday, Sept. 22 on Sunday Night Football.

The Monday Night Football doubleheader will feature the New Orleans Saints at Houston Texans at the 7 p.m. EST game. In the nightcap, the Denver Broncos will play at the Oakland Raiders.
