Scoring Expected to be Tough<\/strong><\/p>\n

The U.S. Open rarely sees good scores and that should be no exception this week.\u00a0 The winning score in six of the last nine Opens has been even par or higher.\u00a0 This year\u2019s course is Pinehurst #2 which means greens that actually repel shots.\u00a0 Scrambling is going to be the name of the game at this year\u2019s U.S. Open.\u00a0 Players that can bump and run; use lofted wedges with a lot of spin and find their way out of trouble should do well. One of those players with that skill set would be Phil Mickelson but he has not played well this year so taking him to win would be a risk.<\/p>\n
