The Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers are set to face off in a crucial Game 6 matchup in the second round of the NBA playoffs on Thursday evening. The Celtics will be playing on the road and facing elimination, while the 76ers look to close out the series and advance to the next round.

According to Caesars Sportsbook, Boston is the 2.5-point favorite for the game, with the over/under for total points set at 212.5. However, before making any picks, fans should check out SportsLine’s advanced computer model for NBA playoff predictions and betting advice.

One player to watch for the 76ers is guard Tyrese Maxey, who has been a supremely confident and talented playmaker in the playoffs, averaging 20.3 points, five rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game. Forward Tobias Harris has also been effective for the 76ers, averaging 16.3 points and 7.7 rebounds while shooting 42% from 3-point range.

Meanwhile, the Celtics will be relying on forward Jayson Tatum, who is an exceptional three-level scorer, leading the team in scoring, rebounds, and assists. Guard Jaylen Brown has also been a key player for the Celtics, with great defensive instincts and scoring ability.

The stage is set for a physical and grueling contest between two talented teams, with the Celtics fighting for their playoff lives and the 76ers looking to advance to the next round. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
