Johnny Walker’s punishing performance in the UFC Charlotte co-main event against Anthony Smith showcased his striking skills and earned him a third consecutive win. Over three rounds, Walker demonstrated his prowess by landing devastating calf kicks on Smith’s lead leg, which caused accumulating damage.

In addition to the calf kicks, Walker scored a knockdown and launched jumping knees and head kicks at Smith. Despite his impressive display, Walker refrained from finishing the fight too quickly, stating that he wanted to prove himself and savor the joy of victory.

Smith fought back with heavy hands, but Walker was unfazed and landed punches right alongside him. As the fight wore on, Smith’s overhand right found a home on Walker’s chin, but he was able to roll with the punch and absorb most of the impact on his shoulder.

The damage to Smith’s leg eventually opened up an opportunity for Walker to connect with a stiff punch that dropped Smith to the mat. Although Walker briefly followed Smith to the ground, he stood back up after a stalemate.

Despite the one-sided nature of the fight, Walker remained cautious in the closing moments to avoid any mistakes. After his victory, Walker jumped out of the cage to shake hands with former opponent and UFC light heavyweight champion Jamahal Hill, paying his respects and stating his intention to reach the top.

Overall, Walker’s impressive performance showcased his striking abilities and earned him a well-deserved victory over a tough opponent in Anthony Smith.
